Radnor Lake State Park is located in between Nashville and Brentwood and is one of the United States' largest designated state wilderness areas found in a metropolitan location. Boasting numerous trails, green spaces and water areas, the park lends itself for many activities, such as birdwatching, hiking, canoing and taking various programs. Built in 1853, the mansion is located on a thoroughbred stud farm and nursery. Also featured on the farm are an 1832 slave cabin, stables and carriage house.
